finally the hunt is over : Luxury Twin XL 12-Inch Memory Foam Mattress
My husband and I have our share of aches and pains from work and other injuries. We have gone through sufficient beds, innerspring and foam that I have lost count. Let's not forget the toppers either. The last bed I tried was $1600 for an eco foam mattress, proving money is not a factor. It got a crator in less than a year. I am not obese.
In desperation I spent over two days surfing the net as well as reading interviews here. I went and tried several of the $$$ stores, all the time ending up on the $$$$ Rhapsody. Then I heard about Dynasty mattresses through the Memory Foam Maniac's site. I was leary but the reviews were all so good here on Amazon I figured $369 was good than development an additional one $$$ mistake. 1st, for those citizen who said their beds arrived without warranty info: I looked up Dynasty's palpate info. Forget the phone, they are too busy. I e-maile, asked for a copy of the warranty and had it back in an attachment within 20 minutes. Then I e-mailed to ask what the discrepancy in specs was in the middle of the three 12 inch beds. Found the specs for that too. Went to Amazon and ordered the twin xlong luxury model which was closest to the Tempurpedic Rhapsody.It is the softest of the three 12 inches but still supportive. Yes it stunk. General is to stink. If yours doesn't you have the exception. Or you bought an Eco friendly version which may deteriorate like my last one did. Took one person's guidance and removed the outer cover to let more smell out. Left it in a room with fans and an air filter. Tried something new: I used a whole box of baking soda. Since the inner cover is more like cheesecloth the baking soda could be rubbed in through the cover. Could have used 2 but it worked.Put outer cover on leaving baking soda in there. Most smell gone. Aches and pains going away. It may be a tiny bit softer than the Tp Rhapsody but soft and supportive even better. Love Love this mattress. If it lasts a year I have gotten my money's worth. Would not have had the courage if it were not for all the informative reviews on Amazon. Thank you from my back, my pocketbook and the part of me that is sleeping through the night now. Nexttest: longevity.
